Experience and Passion
Lauren and Kendra’s passion for dentistry combined with their vast experience in training new dental assistants over the years led them to create this program, giving men and women in all stages of life the opportunity to start a wonderful and rewarding career in the dental field.
Lauren Olding is the co-owner and co-founder of Columbus Dental Assisting. Lauren has been in the dental field for approximately ten years. She started as a dental assistant, and then went on to get her Expanded Functions license. Since 2012, Lauren has been the clinical director for a multi-million dollar dental group in the central Ohio area, and has also continued to practice as an EFDA. She has experience in general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery. She has always felt she can make an impact on the lives of the students pursuing dental assisting in a positive and educational way.
Kendra Kundert is the co-owner and co-founder of Columbus Dental Assisting and has been in the dental field for seven years. She started out at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, working closely with all of the dental students there. Although it provided extensive networking, Kendra really wanted to get involved in private practice. Since 2013, Kendra has been working for a large multi-office company as an Assistant Clinical Supervisor, Inventory control manager, as well as continuing her dental assisting career. As Assistant Clinical Supervisor, she aided in training on boarding dental assistants, many of whom were new program graduates.
